I went out for a little hunting yesterday, I actually went out twice, two different places with two different hunting buddies. Sort of a split shift kind of thing.
These finds, except for the 1945 Quarter, came from the second hunt, at my favorite haunt of late, where I have been doing pretty good.
I don't know what that ring is made out of, I'm thinking brass/copper perhaps? It's only marked "mexico".
In a separate note, I've been doing a lot of research and had the chance to put some of it to the test on Saturday. I attempted to locate some cellar holes I had marked up on Google Earth with map overlays. The data worked like a charm and I found two of the largest cellar holes I've ever come across. Unfortunately it had snowed in this area the night before, Friday, and so it was very difficult to locate anything through the snow and then further still through the leaves and debris underneath. I did manage to find this button type item, I think its pewter but I don't know for sure.
