got out for a while today

me and my oldest boy got out today and went back to the site where i hunted yesterday and we hunted pretty hard today but not too much to show we did manage a few flat buttons and a couple with a little gold on them. i did find two concave type buttons with a checkered pattern on them but i guess i lost one. well maybe i'll find it next time. hope ya'll enjoy. thanks, wendell.

the place where we have been hunting has several old houseplaces that were settled in the 1820s through the 1850s this small site is probably around the 1820-1830s. thanks, wendell.

With all that old stuff that site should hold some real treasures...
That first nail? is intersting, is that a pointed tab on the head of it?
