Got some goodies today

Brinks box had 34- 40%ers and 2008-S 90% and 2001-S 90% (both were scratched and "cloudy" looking-fingerprints that won't come out, but at least they are silver). No pre-65s, so whomever dumped the coins probably removed them.

Also some clad proofs in decent shape for the most part.

Part of someone's collection I guess.

Yes, the Mint makes special sets of 90% coins that they sell. I originally listed 1991, but it is 2001S (I got a 1991 S clad). If you have seen a clad proof half rim (wide, bright copper color), the 90%ers look the same but super-bright silver. You cannot miss them. Also they make the appropriate "clink" sound when you hit another coin against them.

I have found most everything people talk about on here except a 90% proof and a magicians coin....

Hope to find both soon. Your right about the proofs though they almost jump out and slap you.

congrats jim. i am still waiting on my first 2009. it's just amazing to think that someone would crack out a silver proof and spend it guess between kids and crooks they will keep us all in silver
