Here's my test using the Garmin Glo. Pictures 1-2 are me mowing with it (to get a sense of its gridding capabilities). 3-4th Pictures is a comparison with my phones internal GPS vs the Glo.
I think it works pretty well.
In the mowing picture the yellow line is my actual property. I can shift the track over to make it line up pretty nicely to find spots I would have missed in the field.

Very interesting.
I can usually recall significant find locations by memory. Not always though.
Please post again after further testing with your results. Thanks
Peace

No... the gps is on my back. My grass was long and I needed to get as much out of the lawn mower so it can cut better.

That looks way to much for this old boy. I just prefer the simple breadcrumb trail on my GPS to get me back to base in time for supper. They are just starting to come out with simple systems that just backtrack. Frankfive star.png

Was hiking/camping in Red River Gorge Ky. a few years back. During the hike, a friend somehow was lost overnite. Scary situation! For his next bd present, we got him the device Frankn mentions. "Ain't" been lost since. ;)
Peace

Oh I'm using this to see areas I've missed metal detecting not if I'm last haha
