lol navy. yeah, he's kind to animals. That's what started this. It was a newly hatched free-range chick. He was trying to show it where to get water. What's funny is the rooster didn't do anything, the hen got him. :)

hahaha! I never in my life knew of anyone gettin assaulted by a chicken! However, when I was little we had some geese that would come after you real quick.

Usually it's the rooster that kicks butts around here but this time it was the hen. Wish I'd gotten video. :)

I got hen pecked on my hand the other day. Dixie Chick is protective of her babies. Did bleed a little, I keep peroxide @ the coop, just poured some on and went about my business. As a youngster, I was spurred by a rooster, don't remember if it was from being spurred, but my grandpa started calling me "chicken", all the way up til he died I was still "chicken", that was his nickname for me. Grandma called me "chick-a-dee".

To funny ! Reminds me of my X brother-in-law . He tried to take a baby wild goose from a local lake . When mama goose saw him , she came flying in low and fast straight at him . He screamed like a little girl , dropped the baby goose and ran . My father who was watching , fell on the ground cause he was laughing so hard ..:laughing7:

That's funny rat! The rooster we had before the one we have now used to attack everything that came near the coop except for most men. He didn't stay in the coop, he just patrolled the perimeter. One day my son went out and saw him kicking the crap out of one of those large pitbulls that had wandered on the property. Dog left in a hurry. All of our dogs would walk waaaaaay around that rooster, they had all been taught.
