Granite Colorado, a rip roaring Gold mining camp,founded 1859/another

For those of you in colorado, this was a rough gold mining camp,on cache creekand kellys bay.Evidence of early activety should be visible if you look right.Located on hwy 24,about 16 miles north of buena vista. I believe their is a lot of small gold caches buried in and around this long deserted bonanza.

Newett , Colorado, located about 1 mile sw.of trout creek pass,on hwy 24-285,about 13 miles east of buena vista,Foundations remain, buried treasure has been found here,their is more that is unfound.

Great info...there will probably be a massive rush of treasure hunters to the area tomorrow...! It would sure be great to actually find a place like that then spend a week or two going all over it with a detector. Great story....good luck with the masses...!
