Lovely day today, no gloves needed & the sun was out for a bit...
We spent 5 hours gridding the last 2 good areas & have decided to move on to other places, so this site is done for now. (Although we will return at some point in the Spring after a plough)

The morning started off very slow but we ended the day with a good catch;

18/19th C Seal with a Griffith (not easy to picture)
A new type of 13/14th C Buckle that I need, at first I thought Ring!

18/19th C Silver Cufflink/Collar Stud - makersmark RW
Scrace 17th C Token in good condition

Nice end to the Gravel Top Hill, great looking buckle and thought it was a ring until I read what you had written. The token has crisp detail on it still, what's on the other side of it, Chicks & Hens?

Now did the gold mesh button give ya nitro moment when you saw it the dirt?

That is the Chicks & Hens side, the other is T over RS.

Dad got the gold button so not sure what he thought.
