I've been rescanning some previous spots I've hit, and have been finding some strays. Played with some settings and have had some luck!

I went to two spots and although all the signals were choppy, I as able to sniff these four fellas out. 1 hour 30 minutes later here are the results! Mr Barber has a nasty scar. You should throw him back before he scares the children, lol. Good job going back!

Too late. Just spent it at 7-11 and got a half of a hotdog.

Could I get the address of above mentioned 7-11 . I just want the other half of that dog .... it dosent have anything to do with the silver now in the register . I promise it dosent :tongue3::laughing7:

3 Mercs and a Barber in an hour and a half, I'd say that's a good day. Nice going. At the end of the year that silver sure adds up.

I think it's still on the rollers cooking away. It'll be there at least another day if you're interested. Lol

Very nice digs! What detector did you swing, and what settings did you change?

I was using the CTX in the Gone hunting program. I often adjust the gain and also, more often than not, change modes (ie. ground/coin, ferrous/coin, etc...). Wetter conditions I've even used the saltwater feature. I also sometimes use fast recovery.

This time I switched to coin/ferrous, fast recover (part of the time) and took off deep since targets are generally 3-5" deep there. I also lowered the gain from +3 to +1.

Four silvers in 90 minutes = success. And success = fun in this hobby. Nicely done!
