For those of you who have seen my post about where I had the opportunity to buy 80 Canadian silver 50 cent pieces for $6.25 each, well I bought them and it was an unbelievable find. Here is the list of the dates and monarchs.
Edward VII (sterling silver)
1909 I was not expecting it but I was pumped when I found it! :notworthy:

George V (sterling silver)
1917 :notworthy:
1918 :notworthy:

George VI (80%)
1939
1940
1941 x3
1942 x3
1943 x3
1944 x2
1945 x4 one is in Mint state shape with beautiful toning
1946 x3
1950 x3
1951
1952

Elizabeth II (80%)
1953
1954
1956
1957 x6
1958
1959 x4
1960 x4
1961 x3
1962 x5
1963 x3
1964 x6
1965 x12
1966 x5

Many of the later queen Elizabeths were also mint state but they are common in that grade because they minted so many and not many people used them. So I paid $6.25 for each coin. I am glad I got the deal. So many of the coins are worth more in numismatic value than just in silver value. I think I will just wait for silver to go up in price though. A coin show is coming up this weekend, I will post what I get.

Great deal What condition was the 1909 and the George Vs in? Edwardian halves are hard to find in VG-8 or better at a good price

Nice!

I found two Canadian 50c; One is 1919 and the other is 1950. Considering they are smaller than US halves it was very surprising to find them in US half rolls.

Good score. Some sterling halves for under melt. Definitely worth more than bullion value. Keep it up. :)
