Nice Finds.:icon_thumleft: ....& Welcome:hello:

Why was it a 'Rescue' hunt? Over here that means that you saved them before the construction moved in or you gave them up freely to the Archies? which is it?

The name of our organized hunts is Relic Rescue
Some sites may be under threat of development and some are active farm land. None the less we rescue what relics we can from the ground and have a good time doing so!

Ray, first, welcome to TreasureNet. :)

Let me offer some relic-ID assistance. The gunparts you dug are from a US Springfield Model-1842 smoothbore musket, not an Enfield Rifle. Compare them with the photo (and info) here: Muskets, Model 1842, Springfield
