Great find...copper coffee pot...Indian Wars fort area...Montana

Took my friend out for his first outing with his detector. One mile from earliest Montana IW fort. What does he find All copper coffee pot.....came out of the ground with all green patina....he washed it at home and it 'cleaned' better than I would have wanted.....much patina scrubbed off.....
Numerous benet primed 45-70 cart. cases and bullets found very near where this pot was found

Is this the correct era piece for the IW era??
