Hello
Names Paul.
I'm new to this forum and new to alot of things I been finding lately.
I got home from work last night and my step son Darrell found a green glass like rock, He keeps saying it an emerald, I have no idea, I medal detec when I have time.
But wasn't expecting to come home to see such a thing.
If any of you could give me some information on what is, I'd appreciate it a long with my step son.
Not the first stage thing we found on the land.

Hi Paul, welcome to TreasureNet. A good picture or two would help greatly for the members to identify your rock.

Welcome to the forum, Paul. I'd probably describe what you've got as a green, glass-like rock. :laughing7:

Sounds like a green glass rock, could be emerald, gem, piece of bottle, piece of jar, piece of hard green plastic, petrified booger ???

I understand that Pa was Lex Luther's old stomping grounds so what you may have there is Kryptonite. Won't know for sure until we get a better look at it. In the mean time keep it away from Superman as he has issues with it.8-)
