🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Green under natural light, red under UV light. What is it?

Found off Lake Ontario. I think it looks awesome, but what is it?

Biological material like a moss will fluoresce red under long wave UV and can be green in daylight.

I have found similar specimens in Virginia. I’ve done a lot of research and ultimately come to the conclusion that to know for sure, its chemical makeup needs to be tested. Typically when you see that you think Alexandrite, but that’s super rare. Many different rocks have chatoyancy, alexandrite, sapphires and ruby can, sun and moon stone as well. Opalized quarts can appear color changing too. I’d check hardness and see if you can identify crystal structure but taking clear close up pictures and then blowing them up. lol… that’s the track I’m on… hope this is helpful!
