One day I walked by the TV and some guy was making some grilled green tomatoes in Feta cheese. I never did take notes since I figured I would be able to find it on the internet. I have not been able to find this online anywhere... neither the recipe nor the show. From what I remember he put the green tomatoes in a baking dish, drizzled them with olive oil and then grilled them for awhile. Then he took the juices from the tomatoes and put in into a food processer with Feta cheese and some other items. Then he poured the mixture into a baking dish and placed the tomatoes ontop of the cheese mixture and then grilled it longer. It sounded and looked really good.
I got some green tomatoes yesterday and would like to be able to make this for a nice side dish for tommorrow night.
Anyone catch the show or know this recipe?

I went ahead and winged it tonight.
I quartered the tomatoes, put them in a baking dish, drizzled olive oil on them and then baked them for almost an hour. I grated a block of Pepper Jack cheese and sprinkled this and some Feta onto the cooked tomatoes and popped it back into the oven until the cheese was bubbling. It was really good but I think it could have been better. I think slicing the tomatoes thinner so as not to cook all of the flavor out is the key. Also having fresh tomatoes during the growing peak would have been better too. All in all we really liked this dish and will be cooking it again.
