Here is an European ground test done in Belgium. I believe it is in Dutch.

Yeah the different measurements and language thing does suck- but there is
nothing else out there like it. Possibly could not do in this country- afraid of being sued? I guess if your detector has a V it was detected. An X and not detected. It does have some coil comments and disc mode.

Did some research and found that a "loodje" is a very old coin that is 17mm to 23 mm (just over 5/8" to 7/8" or so) and struck in lead. Ought to read about like a bottle cap or very flattened bullet.

You know that is funny. Since yesterday I wondered what a "Loodje" was as it did not not turn up on a translation search. What is a Muntschat?(I assume large precious metal?) If any of my lower translations are in error- correct them.

I am also wondering what the size measurements are really in as both size and depth in cm's doesn't make sense?

Translations (I hope are correct) I assume bronzen ring and bronzen ornament = are bronze ring and bronze ornament.

musketkogel = musket ball?or cannon ball?
zilveren ring = silver ring
blok brons = bronze pulley?
vinger hoed = thimble
rom. follis = roman large bronze coin
Some more ancient coins are

scripulum
dupondius
sesterz
autonianus zilver = silver autonianus
denarius
zilveren munt = silver coin
follis

fibula = ancient broach
as = spindle?
gesp = buckle?
loden bol = lead ball?

Other terms schikf = I believe a coil vervuid = polluted(I take this to mean not a strong but iffy signal)
schoon = clean (I take this to mean a clean signal) spoort alle metalen met lage toon op ijzer = goes by all metal with low tone on iron. Schoonprogramma onmogelijk met te zoeken (on the dfx chart) The nearest I got was = attempt to program was impossible???? oud model met stalen kasten 8" dd schijf = Old model with steel ? 8" DD coil standaard zoekschijf= standard searchcoil met =with and oud = old

Babel Fish is a free on-line translator. They have English/Dutch, but not Flemish. So, some are close enough to work, others not so.

http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr

muntschat = currency treasure
gesp = buckle
as = ash (?)
blok = Block-system
geld = money
brons = bronze
kogel = ball
hoed = cap
bol = convex(?)
loden = loden(?) (It does this when there is no translation, or when they are the same)
Schoonprogramma onmogelijk met te zoeken = programme Impossible with zoeken

Now this is Dutch, not Flemish, so it is similar but not exact.

Yes Charlie I used Babel Fish first and originally got those responses. However, I used other sources when I got stumped. For example another interpretation for AS besides ASH was axle, spindle or shaft- so I assumed spindle. Vinger hoed turned out to be "finger cap" so I assumed this to be a thimble. I thought zoeken was "attempt".

Gee- I guess this means we both have a lot of free time on our hands. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Minelab Explorers of various kinds and discrimination settings and something called an XP (Eurpoean make I'm not familiar with) got perfect scores. The "v" is a hit and the "x" is a miss.
