I call this the Glass Field because I’ve never seen so much glass and pottery in one spot. My daughter and my wife have come here to search for glass and we always go home with a pile!

Tonight was pretty good to say the least, just got freshly ploughed yesterday. I jumped out of the truck and eyeballed the gun! I thought it was a metal rod, I picked it up so I wouldn’t drive over it. Turns out it’s a pretty cool find. Any experts on here have any idea what kind it is? I hope it’s the real deal but it seems a bit small.

Also found this worked piece of flint. Any info on this would be appreciated! Found some silver, a 1903 IH cent, and Mickey. I’m not sure what the little horseshoe item represents but it’s kind of neat.

Thanks for looking!

Your gun could be the remains of a Remington model 6 rolling block rimfire in my opinion.

Flint is KRF...Knife River Flint from Dunn or Mercer Co. N.Dak. Nice finds. Love the rifle. No doubt it's a Remington Model 6. I'd like to try and restore it. Well, maybe not. Gary

That gun could be zapped to clean it. You would be able to see lots of marks, it's not in that bad of shape, cool find along with the eclectic other finds. Great site, I'd hit that spot every day!

I find endless rimfire casings, never thought I’d actually find a rifle that fired them! Thanks, I believe your ID is correct.

Really like the rifle, and the Canadian dimes.

I haven’t gotten out much at all this year so it was nice to make some decent finds. Thanks!

Do you think the flint was on its way to becoming an arrowhead?

You didnt even mention Micky mouse !! Hes cool too !!

My bad you did mention Micky !!

Nice finds! Amazing someone didn't eyeball that rifle before. I believe your piece of flint is what it was intended to be, a scraper.

Great pics and super finds, grats and thanks for sharing.

Yep, I’m pretty happy to have found it. I’m going to try electrolysis and see how it turns out.

No doubt, especially with it being farmed you’d think the farmer would have found it over the years.

I agree with the flint being a scraper, it’s worked all the way around to look like that so it’s probably how it was intended to be.

Great bunch of finds- Congrats!

Congrats on all the nice finds. That's a great bunch of silver.
