Scoop, because it happen in the past does not make it right now..... It's not something made up, its a fact. Precincts with 110+% of registered voters voting, dozens of precincts in same districts in key states with not a single vote for the other candidate, military votes not being counted.... All the freebies given out, what do you think the purpose of the freebies were, it was to buy votes because the people were dumb enough to sell their votes cheap, what was the purpose of over riding our immigration laws and not deporting the illegal aliens, it was to buy votes. You think we need to get over the fraud, just get over it and move on, not going to happen......Not even to mention the fact one could not even legally hold office.....

How I vote for everything the rest of my life has been changed by this, the charities I supported and will never support again, the people I support, the causes I now contribute to and the ones that will never get another single dime from me the rest of my life. I have family members I no longer talk to.......

Just like in Germany in 1933, you had a population who could not see the forest for the trees who were blind and naive and saw nothing wrong with Hitler and the Socialist party, saw nothing wrong with surrendering their weapons and freedoms to the state. Saw nothing wrong with the socialist ideas of their "great leader", when their eyes were finally open it was too late.....................Deja Vu

TH in all honesty I think you know that the entire political system is corrupt and on the take. That's not the domain of any single party. Political games and controversies happen with every election. This one was prob one of the least controversial of elections - remember hanging chads. You live in a republic and not a democracy so you have the electoral college and have since the founding of the country. You would enjoy reading some good books on American political history. You had duels to the death, real good old fashion corruption like Tammany hall and smear campaigns like you could not believe. You wouldn't believe the pamphlets that used to come out smearing politicians. You would definite get a kick out of it. IMO all the politicians are crooks and out for themselves.

And you need to go back and re-read your German history. Evil hitler was welcomed in to power with the full knowledge and open arms of the German people riding pn the platform of restoring price to the nation and fixing the horrible economy. Kind of like when Reagan came in after the wuss carter. Luckily Reagan didn't turn out to be a wack job (though some on the left might argue differently!!).

Stockpicker, I have been reading American history since the mid 1950s, nothing in your post is telling me anything I do not already know.............There is a big differece between a smear campain and what we have now. I also know about the German history and how the people wecome Hitler as a savior and allowed him and the socialist party to take their rights just like the liberals welcome the one today.........Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it.......
