i'm in west virginia at a conference and i brought along the coinstrike. had 2hrs to kill so i went for a drive and saw a spot that got my attention. some old trees and some picnic tables. within 10 minutes i get a signal thats both good and then questionable, depending on how i swing it. i dug it and got a pull tab. cant be, pulltabs dont ring up in the silver scale. one more scoop with the knife and i pop out a barber half! man, i was doing the happy silver dance, the happy old coin dance, and the happy first half dollar dance all a once!!!

Nice find, re-tek!! I'd be doing the happy dance too. I've found one barber half (1907) this year about 4 mi. from my home, and it's still exciting for me to hold it in my hand and think about who lost it.
