hi guys
just got my new minelab SE and man it sure can find the deep stuff. I got this from my own yard that i have been over 20 or more times with my garett and i thought i had got everything out of my yard but NOOOOOO !!!!! ::) ::)got to love those minelabs ;D ;D ;D it read silver at 10 inches and it was spot on for depth because after chiseling out 10 inches of FROZEN tundra out popped this sweet little hair cuttin BARBER quarter

I'm only hearing good things about Minelab.

Congratulations on the Barber. They say Minelabs have a steep learning curve.

What was your experience in that regard? I'm thinking of getting one. ;)

Those minelabs certainly have superior depth. My next unit is most likely going to be one.

Sweet! Hasn't seen the light of day in a long time. Great find and congrats on the new detector, can't wait to see what else it finds the other one missed.

sorry ..forgot to say i spent some time making a silver program before i took it outside to hunt for the first time...it was sort of like telling a bloodhound to go find a crook..it took a couple sniffs then started after the prey...started to bark like mad when it found it ..hahahhaha was too cool ;D

no curve for me cause i have a couple of buddies that have explorer 2 and have used them when my garrett was on the fritz ...but maybe for someone who has never used one before or is fairly new at detecting the curve might be pretty steep but VERY worth the effort to learn it tho!
