Went to a old park today I had never been to, holy smokes 10 minutes in I hit a 01/45 bouncing to 12/48 and I was thinking it couldn't be, I just dug a walker like 4 days ago, well down about 5 inches was this sweet 1911 barber half! I am so thrilled!!! Once I cleaned it up I went back to it, tons and tons of trash. After a couple hours of clad and trash I got a screaming 01/50 and almost didn't dig it, figured it would be a big hunk of can facing straight up, glad I dug. Down about 4 inches was this vintage silver ring. Dug a couple more wheats, some bling as a cool Ole 1984 olympic pin.. Now off to get ready for Halloween

Great find! Would you mind posting a pic on this thread. Some members including myself shy away from links.

Congrats

Beautiful 1911. Nice score. The silver ring isn't shabby either.

Sweet! The only thing that would make that coin look better is if you had a Colt 1911 next to it :laughing7:
