Looks as if it has been roughed up on one end, and has a smooth spot in the middle at the bottom where fingers would rest. Is it a hammer stone or a big imagination?

I would think a hammer stone would show more use wear on one end, probably just mother nature banging that one up, but hey, I would have picked it up as well.

It has the rite shape but seeing it doesnt show any use wear it might be natural. Some are hard to tell.

Looks like it has done plenty of hammering to me in the one of. I'd call it a hammer stone.
