Saturday night we attended a tribute to Hank Williams Sr at the Old South Jamboree. Mr. Ed, 79 yrs young, put on quite a show. It was a packed house, everyone was clapping, taping their toes, singing along. You can imagine what Hank Sr would look like if he had lived, but gosh, Mr. Ed being tall and lanky like Hank, sure had that same voice.

 RR

AHH, Man, that would have been one good one to see. He had so many great songs.I still
have several of his albums (33 1/3 rpm). Ones that I bought back in thw late 50's.

Cool Double R. Give Hank III a listen. He sounds a whole lot like his grandpa. You might want to get the edited versions, as he's a little profane and the family can't listen to it. (Well, I guess in this day and time that don't matter much.) But he has some good songs and sounds and looks like his grandpa. Plus, he's my buddy on MySpace.
