7 - 40% Halves

Teller #2 : Right next to her, says I have $26.00 in the big coins. He said, they are a pain, they dont fit anywhere. "Sure, I'll take them". I made his day for taking them, but he made mine!!!!!!!!!
-1921 Morgan mixed with the other 25 Ikes. Im not a coin guy, but thats awesome!

$30.00 in Customer Rolled Halves:

nice finds - esp the loose halves and the Morgan. I love getting loose halves - I got a '64 myself today from just 4 loose coins from a teller at one bank and I skunked getting $130 in cwr's from a teller at another bank.

And that Morgan is a great find. It's always nice to know those REAL SILVER dollars are still out there.

HH and keep on searchin'

I am sure happy is really happy!!! awesome score, is that morgan dollar from philly?(no mint mark) or is it from denver(d) or san francisco(s)?

you can tell by looking under the eagle on the back. That morgan is in great shape too!

I'll take a look tonight when I get home and post!! Is there any signficance between marks?
not really anything significant, but in 1921, that was the first year(and only year) they minted morgan dollars since they started peace dollars in late 1921. Just think that is cool to have a denver mint morgan since that's the only year denver produced morgans.

It is a D Mark. Pretty neat it was only minted one year in Denver.

I have to say I cant stop playing with this coin and I'll probably never sell it. I'll keep it in the family, passing it down to my son or grandson towards the end of my life. It truely has some power when I hold it in my hand, very strange.
