I know it's a few hours early, but just wanted to wish my brothers and sisters a Happy Veterans Day. For those still serving, may you have a safe tour, and for those who have retired, thank you for your service. For those who never made it home, God bless you, you and your service to this great country will never be forgotten.

Here, here I agree. To our men and women serving today, god bless and stay safe, to my fellow retirees thank you and great job, to the ones that are no longer with us may the angels cradle you in their wings and keep you safe, for you have done your duty with honor.

53 years of continuous military service for my family since my dad:

MSgt Bill Bernhardt USAF 62-88 (My father, deceased)
TSgt Michael Bernhardt USAF 86-08 (Myself, medically retired)
MSgt Daryl Bernhardt USAF 96-present, he'll retire in Feb with 20 years (My brother)
Sgt George Bernhardt USMC 07-present (My son, working on his degree and a commission)

God Bless all my fellow brother and sister Vets. Let us keep the families of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in our prayers always, but especially today for The Lord's Peace and Comfort to rest upon them.

I should be out getting a free meal from Applebe's, but here I sit typing.

Time to change that! I'm showered, dressed, and presentable.
