HARD CASE FOR THE DEUS THAT WON'T BREAK THE BANK!!!

Hey there folks. After my son and I were out last weekend; I just couldn't take it we were using large backpacks for our machines. Were kinda rough on our equipment and the occasional "jump" while driving the dirt roads in our area doesn't help! Our buddies have their gear sometimes and with everything in the back banging around; I would hate to have something break. :laughing7:

I see the Deus hard case for sale on the net, but for that price, I just couldn't pull it off. We were at Big 5 sporting goods today and found the perfect case. With a minor cut to the foam for the arm piece. This thing is plenty big for a lot of equipment and it is a good HARD CASE!! We still have enough room for our pin-pointers and diggers and any thing else. The price was only $50 bucks per case so we both got one for our machines. Just a thought for you guys who like to load and go.......

What brand/model is that? Think I'd like to get one. For that price, it's definitely worth a shot...

Lol, no problem. The reason I was asking is because i'ma check Amazon and see if they have it. Trying to use that Amazon Prime membership whenever I can. Can't beat that free 2 day shipping.

I use a camelbak motherlode soft pack but would definitely like a hard case for storage or long trips. Good post.

Hmmmm...
I have wanted a hard case that was not for a gun...
Almost bought one anyway for my detector...
But...
I picture getting it out of the vehicle at the beach... or a park... for I am sure some eyes would be watching your every move...
I know if I saw you get out of your vehicle and take that case out I would definitely be watching you... heh

Not so sure that the Detector cases available "look" too much different from that one... to the general public.

I can see it now...
You gear up...
Looking like a crazy to most...
Carrying that case off into some public place.

The days of "instant" media may be your nightmare.

Heh Arrrrg.

Yeah, I have that same case for my AR :) Amazon has them on sale some times, I think I got mine for $28 shipped. Its a good case, and it doesn't really look like a typical rifle case due to its shape.
