man im stoked after the CVRR hunt at hampton,il.
this weekend. even tho the weather was poor
i had an excellent time. meeting new friends and joking
w old ones.
the other attendees agreed that attendence was down a little.
WHATS WRONG HERE ....i cant understand folks not showing
up big for the planted hunts.
i had detector problems on one hunt and only scored 5
silver dimes.
EVEN WITH THAT PROBLEM...I CAME OUT WAY AHEAD
FOR THE WEEKEND...INCLUDING PAYING FOR MY GAS !
what other hobby can say this.
i dont guarntee it but if u have reasonable dexterity
u can have great fun and possibly a gain on the weekend.
ALL THIS AND I DIDNT EVEN WIN ANY OF THE LARGER PRIZES
what a rush to have a large pile of shiny silver to clean.
thats mighty hard to duplicate in the wild these days my friend.
so what if those silvers were planted
THEY ARE YOURS TO KEEP.
AND the most beautiful thing about these events :
THE MORE THE MERRIER....thats right...the more folks that come
to these hunts...the more sponsors are willing to give in prizes..
and all entry fees are put in the ground..
the people who organize these planted hunts work hard.
get out there and support them.
if the budget for vaca LOOKS TIGHT try a seeded/competion hunt
i plan on making a more detailed post on this later.
this is a just in case i run out of time...type post
IF ONLY ONE PERSON WHO HAS NEVER TRIED A SEEDED HUNT
COMES TO ONE. TRIES IT AFTER READING THIS THAN IT HAS BEEN
WORTH IT.
many of these are listed here on t net in the events
section.
so cmon out why should i have to battle the heat and the
thunderstorms and bugs all by myself
course it wont bother me non as ill be buried in silver
and prizes
