Great info.
I love the hard times tokens. I think it is because of the History behind it more so than the value.
It's funny how I hated history class in high school but now I can't get enough of it ! (I'm 42)
When you hold something like this Token, You can't help but immagine where it has been and the story of how it got in 8 ft of lake water.
A true detectorist appreciates the foot prints more so than the value.
Thanks
Gary G.

ALL -
Please make sure to check out the incredible story behind this token I found. It is sad and happy at the same time. A man has died transporting my token. I never thought I would see it again.
You can get the rest of the story under catagory "Beaches and Shallow Water".
I don't know how to make it post in both catagories at the same time.
I am writting a story about the events that took place. I have been in contact with a national magazine and also the news station that did the scene of the accident. It will probably make the news again.
I still have a hard time believing that this could have happened to me.
TY
