Hey Mirage, That's what I thought. Pliers outta do it. Just can't have my silver bent up. This dime was in the high weeds along the perimeter of the park. I was mashing them down with the coil trying to get as low as I could. It's getting thin but they're still showing up. Need a good rain to soak the nice black dirt. I bought a used 10.5" coil to put on my Shadow X2. Should get it in the beginning of the week. Gonna go back over it and see how it does. I'll be posting how it does either way. Good or not so good. Nice finds! I usually use a couple of pieces of hard wood and a hammer. That will straiten it out with out scratching it too much. HH

Hey guys,
This works real well on bent coins. Take a newspaper, about 20 or 25 pages thickness.
You only need a small piece of newspaper, but you want than many layers on the top and
the bottom. Put the bent coin in the middle of the layers of newspaper, and give it a tapping
with a hammer. Works great!

hey mike ,I agree with buckle boy that 2 ringer looks like a miniball,,confederate i think
,I;d hit that spot again,but slow never know whats there.
Congrats on the silver.A miniball & silver is a good day if you ask me.

Here's a closer look at the minnie ball. If it is this is my first. Found in good ole New Jersey.
