Here's a nice little adze found at a construction site by my Dad. Typical example of how fast a site can be destroyed. Construction stakes in on a Monday morning. Dozers on Tuesday, loaders and dump trucks on Wednesday, gravel dumped and spread on Thursday. Stone tools were used on large, occupation sites. Within four days a large site was destroyed. He only had time to look during his lunch break one day, after dirt had been pushed up into piles. Also have a short, thick pestle from the same grassy field that became a parking lot.
