Thought I'd let you know of a very enjoyable part of detecting this time of the year. Find a shady part of the site. Shut the detector down. remove earphones. sit quietly on a log and study the ground. Here's a pic of the target. Now you've stopped and smelled the roses or close to it. O.K back to work.

Thanks for the reply middle Idahoan. I don't know enough about flowers to tell what kind it is but it's wild and pretty. Hoping someone looking would identify it.
