I want to thank everyone for getting me hooked on this......:BangHead:
After reading some of the posts here at TN, i figured i would try my luck. Since it's to hot outside to enjoy using the metal detector i decided to try something new. I have only looked for halfs, and this is what i have found. All these are from asking the tellers if they have any halfs. I have not got to the point of asking the bank to order a box for me .........yet!!!

4 ........... 90%
42 ........... 40%
1 ........... 1986s standing liberty
1 ........... 2000s

One of rolls was solid 68's..........Thats a nice feeling

I was astounded by the courtesy of tellers when I roll hunted in Tennessee...then it was back to the reality of the slobs here in the north. That's the way to do it; you can really clean up scouting those teller trays!

Congrats on such great early finds! Welcome to the hobby.

Yes, welcome to the madness. Some of my best hits recently have come from teller tray scores. Boxes seem to be getting thinner and thinner on the good stuff and it really sucks to have to run around and dump when you aren't scoring much. With teller tray scores, much higher percentages and much less to dump. Congrats on the shiny, it is fun to see.

welcome... you're now 1 of 1,000 crh'ers in the TN/KY area, but don't worry, I am 1 of 10,000 hunters in just my state alone... :laughing9:

I think I am 1 out of 1 in Missouri.I have been to probably 65 different banks and none of the tellers have ever had anyone go through dimes or halves to get out the silver.which is great for me.

I figured st Louis would have their fair share...

The NE is over-run with crh'ers now.

My area in TX is over-run as well

Sounds like TN/KY region isn't far behind from what BB said.

Sounds like we all need to pack up and head to MO.

There are no coin counters in my part of MO.so you guys may want to try Branson and St.Louis.they are probably the two biggest cities in Missouri.

You go to Texas to CRH from Nebraska? Or do you go there only on vacation?

I meant Northeast, I see a lot of crh'ers from Tnet and another board I frequent from there. I only know one crh'ers from Nebraska and he does really well typically.

Nice start you can sell your detector so you can do some boxes!! just kidding

Your hooked for life. I haven't hunted in a while and I still have that urge to hunt every time I pass a bank....I always think...I'm passing up silver by not stopping...
