I'm having trouble finding value in your camera...lol. Had to do it! Does it say 35 38 36 28? Looks like 88 but that sure isn't or can't be right!

Much better pix are a must if you want any sort of closely accurate estimated value! I'll go out on a limb & say between $30 & $125 & I'm not sure of the condition nor the date so that's the best I can do with the info & pix you supplied. It looks to have a lot of detail, not very circulated looking at all.

I tried again I pad cameras are terrible it's 1888 and detail is real good

Um the US didn't make a large cent in 1888. I believe 1857 was the last year.

It definitely appears to be an 1838! Although the details are much better, the coin may only Net grade at VG-10 (or possibly a little higher) due to the porosity and what appears to be some damage on the Reverse. That being, the coin may fetch $25 to $30 but possibly a little more if you find the right person.

Thanks for your help you are correct it was much easier to find once I stopped searching 1888 lol.thanks again and happy happy hunting
