Heard The Beep First! Looked Down and There it Was! Laying Right On Top!!

Back to San Francisco and hunted three different locations. Dug up a silver dime and three wheaties in the "Big Park" in S.F. Then I headed over to a very small patch of grass adjacent to S.F. playground. While there, a bunch of Chinese people followed me around fascinated at what I was doing. You should have heard the "oo's and ah's" they gave after seeing me dig up a sterling silver ring! The end of the day I went back to the median strip for about 4 hours worth of hunting. While swinging my coil through the gopher mounds and weeds I here a signal in my headphones, look down and see a silver dime laying right on top of a gopher mound! So I have a OK day with 2 silver dimes, a silver ring, and 15 wheaties!

good finds and your post made me laugh but i always finding civil war bullets on top of the ground in the creek is the best just cant wait in till fall was out a week ago got ticks got hit by yellow jackets but got 22 bullets a borman fuse lead and tin navel and a CSA button with out back so all in all was a good day but im wishing for fall

Did you check that dime real carefully? there may be very tiny tooth marks?
