Heartbreaker and scrapers

The only thing I found whole today was scrapers. Found some nice worked material that has stripes in it that broke during the making. The heartbreaker is the base to a Copena that would of been colorful if it wasn’t missing the tip. Found some flake blades to prolly only used a couple of times then discarded. I find a lot of flake blades if it wasn’t for them some days I wouldn’t find a thing. Never thought I’d be happy finding scrapers but I was happy to see them.

At least the artifacts are coming in, looks like some good material and the flake blades are a little underrepresented in this forum I don’t mind seeing them

I like the tools. For so many years we would just pass them up until we learned what they were. I have no idea how many what we called back then "blunts" we would just skip across the river.

Congrats on some Very nice artifacts!
I tried a old creek I used to find some killers in. I was really disappointed by finding no points just pieces. It’s been a long time since I was last there. Thanks

I’ve got plenty probably 500 or more flake blades. Must of been a favorite tool for Woodland period. I enjoy finding them. Some of the scrapers I find are only worked with one edge. The other side has cortex strange looking things but I keep them to

Good day out đź‘Ť
Yes it was fun maybe next week I can get out again some place. Even though they didn’t turn the soil this year they are cutting the corn tight to the ground so maybe I will walk a field, thanks Mike
