You have an early Potosi piece minted during the reign of King Philip II. The assayer was Juan Ballesteros Narvaez. It was minted during his 3rd period or after. (He served as assayer off and on for many years and his terms of office are distinguished by die features. This one uses dots around the legend which only began from his 3rd term and onward (he served a 4th term)). 1581 - 1592(end of his 4th term).
