Hi all, I'm new to the site so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Ben from southern England and have recently taken up metal detectoring, as my father has a farm with plenty of acres to wander across and lots of local history to boot.
I'm 32 and a family man with a wife and 3 beautiful daughters. I'm an asbestos consultant for a local company, which means I get to travel around the country a lot.

I hope to get to pick some of your collective of knowledgable brains sometime.
