I went down to relic park in hopes of finding some cool history and ended up with my first Franklin Half.
1951D.
Also a few headstamps, 22 fired round, 3 Lincoln's, a 51D wheatie, and this, what I think is an old Lead brooch. It has some cool gems or cut glass. I can't tell. There does seem to be a place on the back that shows signs of a pin clasp.
Pretty awesome dig for me.
Funny the Franklin was found in the same hole as that iron castor. It would hit on iron a few swings then give one 90s hit. Iron iron iron 90, iron iron iron 90.
Luckily the Franklin flipped out first.
I wonder how and if they got dropped together?
