Hello,
I live in Arizona, I have liked metal detecting for a really long time but never been able to get to serious into it because of the money. I used an tiny little Bounty Hunter Funfinder for a long time so never really got to do much. Just a few months ago a friend gave me a full sized Bounty Hunter Pioneer 101 they found at a yard sale for $5.

I've detected a bit over town before winter, found nothing really but a bunch of rusty screws and nails but still have a lot fun with it. Spent more time watching other people do it on youtube. Sandy soil here and a bit of issues with mineralization quite a bit.

Ah yes Gold Basin :3 Glad you know the area. I have been wanting to go out there to try and find some meteorites. Thanks for the recommendation I'll go check eBay now for some. The weather is perfect and cool out during the daytime now.
