Good day,
Let me Introduce myself first.
My name is Max :-) and i am a Russian Kiwi - moved to Nz in 2004 from Moscow, but was born at far East of Russia .
I've been metal detecting since December 2011 ,so just 16 month, but amount of time i put is probably euqal to someones 5 years of detecting :-)
i have 2 machines- Etrac for land and Excal for water (and no- i do not like CTX3030)
I got over 50 gold rings and hundreds of silvers in these 16 month.
Done 3 Treasure hunting trips to Rarotonga , here is one of the Videos (2012,but more on my Youtube channel) :
WE are lucky in NZ with coin shooting - our 1-2$ are at 0.85 value of US dollar and have a good buying power (egss 3$, milk 3$ 2leter, bread2-3$, butter 4$, petrol 2$ a liter,) and more over they are made of Aluminum bronze alloy - that makes coin shooting in disc mode absolutely fantastic
Our water/beach detecting is either really hard or really easy - our tides are HUGE from 0.2 to 3.5 meters! so you either walk on wet send where the drop area (when high tide during the day and people swim ) or you have to go into water during low tide chest deep and have only about 2 hours for detecting if pople were swimming during the low tide time
As everyone else here- i would like to share my finds and stories and make some friends in remote parts fo the world in case i go on Treasure hunting trip you way :-)
