my name is Artur , i am a portuguse man living and working in Norway.
I just find this forum in Google when i was searching for my new hobby. Soon i wil shop a metal detector, maybe a Makro Racer 2 or a Garret AT pro. I hope i find here answer to my indecisions, and buy the best.

I'm sure you are already hooked on the hobby, before you start!
Get a mid-cost detector or better, and likely it will serve you well!
The two detectors you mentioned are good ones to consider.
Remember, versatility, depth, easy to use, light-weight, and waterproof are some of the qualities
