My Grandparents lived their life in McAlester. They were business people and ranchers. They loved their horses and rode in parades and they helped organize the prison rodeo more than 60 years ago. They owned a motel across from the prison. They also owned a Cattle Auction out by the prison too. Lots of ruins out there. My brother owns the property. I'm sure he would not mind you hunting. When my Mother was a teenager , my grandfather found a wolf baby orphan out on the ranch. My Mother raised that wolf , it came and went from her window until the wolf was old enough to understand that he was a wolf.
