Hello All,

First off please accept my thanks for what you all have posted here, it sure makes my time here more interesting and quicker. The stories and finds are great.
I'm a civilian contractor working in Iraq. I just bought a Explorer SE to use on my next R&R in mid Oct. I plan on hitting the perks and beaches in central Florida where I live.
The picture (if I attached it right) is a poster on cement that was here last year. Note Sadams eyes are crossed. The other is a Iraqy hedge hog that can rest in the palm of your hand.
Thanks again HH

The hedgehog is definitely better looking than Saddam. Welcome to the forum!

Crusty, you may be a civilian contractor but I make the assumption you are there in support of our troops. that being the case, you have my respect and admiration for assisting them.

Thanks for posting ;D

Given how much that area was fought over by the Romans, Parthians, Mongols, Turks, Arabs, British, Americans, a metal detector enthusiast could really clean up there.

Yeah your right Willie,
But we work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week so about the only thing I want to do is go to my hootch and relax a bit and sleep.
The other thing is that there are to many unexploded ordinance and mines around with my luck thats what I'd find.
Thanks for the comment and looking.
