"Hello Members.....from Vancouver, WA" I just reread my introduction title and am unable to edit it so I did it here. I am relatively new to the area as I had relocated about 14 months ago. I am new to prospecting and metal detecting. I have gone a few times so far. I am looking to learn more about the two and meet people with the same interests for chat or some outings. I really like the outdoors here and going adventuring in the mountains. I want to go explore some ghost towns and old mining sites. Maybe do some Rock-hounding too. A new outdoor person?? cool... I'm kinda new (here) too, and want to take my detector everywhere I go!!

Hello, I was at a park on the Columbia last Tuesday 12-23 and two guys came down detecting. One had made the comment that it was a big beach, lol, it was tiny. I was going to introduce myself but I was at the other end of the park when they left. Was that you??
