Hello, new member from Louisiana

Hi everyone. I live 5 miles from New Orleans, La. in a city called Kenner. I am a 51 year old male who is looking for a hobby that will pay for itself and stumbled across this website. I do not have a metal detector as of yet because I am still researching on which one I will buy. I hope to fit in here and learn from the best.
