Re: Help!!! I know nothing about them or what to look for???????

Look for Mint Marks on the Dollars. Specifically the 1892 if it is a CC and to a lesser degree the 1924, if it is an S. Liberty or Morgan dollars will have the Mint Mark located on the bottom of the reverse just above the D and O of Dollar. Peace Dollars will have the Mint Mark located on the reverse just above the tip of the tail feathers and below the word ONE.

Mercury Dimes, the 1916-D, 1921 and 1921-D have significant value. Mint Marks will be located on the bottom of the reverse to the left of the fasces.

And of course condition, condition, condition. :icon_thumright:

Great pics. Some of those Morgans just have great toning to them, very pretty coins. :icon_thumright:

Nice coins, but nothing really valuable and all but the 2 Morgans are well circulated. Melt value is about $95.00. If you can get them for that or less you will have done well. Good luck!

Hi Chug -

As Rooter stated, melt is a little over $95 for these coins. If investing in coins I'm an advocate of buying high grade coins but those coins are "cold". If just collecting, these coins are fine and I would expect to pay about $110 online for them. Hope this helps.

Boy I really do like a couple of those Morgans! :icon_thumright:

Melt on the Morgans and Peace dollars are around 16 - 17 dollars depending on the fluctuating Silver
of late. I think 8.00 is a very low ball bid, offer 13 - 15 for the dollars. The Peace Dollar has seen better days and might be considered a "Cull" dollar.
Just my opinon.
