help ID flower item from colonial home site?

20160131_161653.jpg can anyone tell me the flower item posted in picture ive found 1830s things in my quest i hunt a old colonial homesite found 1830s-1850s va4 virginia button wich is beautiful :tongue3: in the photo one of the flat buttons is a 1834 congressional campaign political button i have found 12 buttons so far from this site just have no idea what this flower item is can anyone help ID?

Flower looks akin to a Shasta daisy and just might be a money clip??? after a lawn mower/machinery hit?? Nice OLD finds ,thanx for pics-John....thinkn' last night-how about a book mark as looks like it was a bit longer at one time??
