Hey everyone! Just joined this forum, looking forward to chatting with ya'll. I've got this big rock on my property that looks very interesting. Haven't pulled it yet to clean/examine/crush. Can someone help me identify if this rock is made up of material that may have signs of possible gold vein, or gemstones of some type? The interesting part is the amber streaks, but it doesn't seem to have the hue of gold like i've seen on some on some other people specimens through this website. Hoping for some answers.
Thanks!

Afraid the pics are not quite good enough to tell what we have here. Might be a quartz vein, granite or even a pegmatite.
Look those up and try a better close-up picture.:occasion14:

Maybe knock a chunk off as well. The amber streaks are likely iron oxides leaching from the rock.
