Found this in a bottle dump in the woods. There were definitely some older bottles there. Wondering about this one. Can’t find anything online. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Does it say WZ or W2?

It could have been a 19th century medicine bottle?

Probably a generic medicine/pill bottle. Despite being a cork-top, it's machine-made and later, I'd estimate 1929-1939ish.

Go get some more!

I'm thinking shoe polish. Found 'em with the caked polish inside, sometimes with the applicator. NJ's right on it being machine made and the time period.
