Hello all, I dug this while looking for civil war relics in an otherwise disappointing weekend. I'm hoping one of the experts can help me identify it? I'd be super excited as I've been detecting for three months and haven't had any luck finding anything.

I'm not sure which direction is up, but I think that is a crown and there is something at a 45 degree angle in the shield looking thing below it. On both sides maybe swords? Thank you!!! Good luck, I couldn't find it.
Theres a good chance it's civilian. I'm leaning towards European or Canadian because of the crown.
It also has a liking to a state seal emblem.
My guess is early 1800's.
Hopefully you will get lucky and find the back its probably there.
