Greetings,
I visited an area rich of quartz on a roadside that hasn't been claimed.
I believe the area lies on or close to a fault.... there was granite shifting one way, and some sort of purpley shale coming from the other side...
I dug into one of these quartz veins and smashed one open to reveal this stuff inside... (pic below)
When I rub my fingers across it, it's very similar to glitter...
Could it be bismuth? Mica? I only started prospecting this year.... and don't have a formal education in Geology, but I'm learning.
